Let’s build something, together.

Teambuilding is a platform for collective construction.

Teambuilding connects homeowners who want to build collaboratively, sharing the costs of land, design services and construction. We gather individuals or groups interested in building with others, match these parties into “teams,” and guide these teams through the process of designing, permitting and constructing these cooperative projects.

How it works

Individuals and small groups fill out their living preferences on the intake form.

  • Currently, Teambuilding operates in and around Los Angeles County, which a specific focus on areas impacted by the Eaton and Palisades fires.

  • After construction, we recommend either splitting the lot into separate parcels (if applicable) and/or converting the individual units on the lot into “cloud condos.” Teambuilding can help you determine what the best structure is for your team and project.

  • Yes! Teams will be connected with our financing partner, ADU Loans, who is already well-versed in collectively financing projects.

  • Teambuilding charges as a percentage of construction cost, which varies based on total project cost.

  • We recommend maxing out your lot yield using ADUs and, where applicable, lot splits. Teambuilding can help you determine how many residential units - and what size units - are able to fit on a specific lot.
